In early 2002, “Rhys” joined us from Joy Devery’s Copperleaf Kennel in New Zealand.  Copperleaf is one of NZ’s successful and longest established Cardigan Welsh Corgi kennels and our thanks to Joy for sharing Rhys and his “golden” heritage lines with us.

Rhys has BOB, class and class in group awards in the company of strong competition both specialty and all-breeds, but his main joy in life is as a valued family member and quality sire.

Rhys teems with vitality, enthusiasm and good humour.  Never known for a cross word, he is always ready for a job or the longest walk and just loves puppies!  Litters inevitably gravitate to and adore their “Uncle Rhys” and it is not unusual to see him elbow-deep in a sea of puppies, talking to them noisily with tail windmilling joyously above their heads.
